TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER

Part of the mission of VTTC is the export of technology in the sectors of environment, energy, transport, sport and entertainment. The city of Vienna has realized with well-known Austrian companies solutions that are partly responsible for that Vienna was also reelected in 2015 as the city with the highest quality of life in the world. VTTC can offer municipalities around the world concert halls, sports facilities, fast and reliable public transport systems, environmentally friendly energy, modern waste and wastewater treatment systems and much more. VTTC provides not only technological know-how, but also can contribute the long experience of its partners in project development, financing, construction, marketing and operation of such facilities to the projects.

ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY

The City of Vienna, and thus VTTC, is a world leader for decades in municipal engineering. The complied environmental standards en Vienna are far stricter than the statutory requirements. Waste incinerators are built in Vienna in the middle of the urban area, as by the method used, the emission values are no problem for the environment. In the thermal power stations heat is generated with the cogeneration heat for one of the largest district heating networks in Europe. Venues for major international events such as the Stadthalle for the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 or the Ernst Happel stadium for the European Football Championship 2008 meet all even the most demanding requirements of the operators and TV stations.

INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS

VTTC develops and supports projects mainly in Southeast Europe, but can offer their services due to the international network of its partners, in all other regions of the world . Main areas up to now are waste treatment, alternative energy, such as biogas plants and sports venues. Moreover are traffic solutions, entertainment venues, waste water treatment and district heating in the international portfolio of VTTC.
